Wallowa Lake

We went to Wallowa Lake in Oregon for David's family reunion. It rained solid for the first two days, and was very cold. We woke up in the morning with all of our air mattresses on top of a lake inside our tent. It was pretty miserable so we got a hotel for the second night so we could get the kids warm and dry again. The third and fourth days were good, and our tent dried out, so things were much better. We saw some eagles, went on a hike, ate huckleberries (yum!), and had some good conversation. All in all we had a good time, but we're pretty glad we don't have to travel with the kids that far again for another year.

Oh I'm glad you were able to have a couple days of good weather! What a bummer! We have our Dale Quigley reunion up at Alturas this weekend, and I'm crossing my fingers for sunny skies. The forecast looks good so far. At least we'll be in cabins. :) Beautiful waterfall!
