Jacob has turned into my little helper. I was finishing up the apples by drying them into apple rings and making apple pie filling. Jacob was really interested in the process, and wanted to try making apple rings. The apple is now mangled and inedible, but he had a great time trying.
We all got colds this week. Here's the convalescence.
Someone is just a little bit jealous of the fun his little sister has.In other news this week, we got most of the roof tar papered, and the rest of the redwood bark insulation out. I also ended up tending a little boy for a friend, who just happened to be contagious with cold sores. He had 9 of them. I barricaded him into a part of the front room, and spent the entire day with a can of Lysol and a bottle of hand sanitizer in my hands. Never again.

Yeah, that's about how it works at our house too. Whenever I try to help Tara in the kitchen, whatever it is I try and help with turns out being mangled and inedible.
So Tara has resorted to saying things like, "Okay little Timmy. Would you like to be my big helper today and lick the bowl?
Me: "Yay! Sugar!"
Tara: "Good job, Timmy! You're really good at that! You are such a good helper!"
Yeah, its a win-win situation. I get to be a big helper, and Tara doesn't have to clean the mixing bowl because I lick it real good then put it back in the cupboard.
Tim, seriously, I can't take it when you make me laugh like that.... why don't you go for a win-win-win situation and invite me over for some good bowl licking?
Please, Tracie, can't you get more done?? Your posts just seem to be full of you doing nothing. I just can't handle it anymore..tee-heeI am sure your mom and grandma are very proud of you and the rest of us are just a bit jealous!!
