I'm not sure what kind of game they were playing, but it was creative.
We've been having kitty wars since Anne decided she loves stuffed kitties just as much as Bridget. Thank goodness we have backup kitty from a time when the first kitty went AWOL.
Jacob's Christmas program
I lost the mealtime battle that day.
The only power in the world strong enough to hold Anne down... the power of television.

Bridget and Markers Don't Mix
She did this last year about this time too.
Also, I cut Jacob's hair the other day, and she insisted on helping. She was going over his hair with one of the clipper guards.
Getting her hair done.

Anne's Birthday
I don't know how it happened, but somehow a whole year has passed since Anne was born. She's such a fun baby, and has a lot of personality. We're so glad she's ours!
Anne just learned how to crawl a week before Thanksgiving, and now she's standing up on things. Here's a fine shot, along with her blowing a raspberry as a bonus.

Citrus Trees
My Meyer Lemon tree decided to blossom once fall came and it was getting only about 12-13 hours of sun. It smells wonderful. I'm hoping to get them to make it to maturity instead of falling off part way through this time. We don't have citrus fertilizer way up here in the frozen north, so I'm doing the best I can with Miracid and an indoor houseplant ferilizer.
The Key Lime trees I planted from seed last spring are doing good. I pruned 4 inches or so off the top so they would start to branch instead of just growing straight up. Here's the new growth on one of them.

Halloween
Pumpkins
The costumes. Bridget had told me for quite some time that she was going to be a butterfly (for the 3rd year running). That all changed though, when she saw Jacob's painted face, and decided that she wanted to be a ghost just like him. I have to say one thing. She was an original that night.
Anne was a cow, although the kids kept telling me that the nose looked like a duck bill. Quack-moo-waaa.
David helped his mom cut some tile for her backsplash. He didn't have all his normal tile gear, so he improvised. In case you can't tell what he's wearing, it's chore boots, a garbage bag, and one of the girls' earmuffs. You do what you have to do.
